Overkillary

I like my Sunday morning politics shows. Hillary was on ALL of them. She said the same things on ALL of them. I can't stand her brand of rambling refusal to answer questions directly and ham fisted manipulation of debates to stick only to her talking points. It's irritating and when she laughs off questions it comes off as condescending. She cannot win a general election folks. Let's get it together and get behind an Obama/Biden ticket. Doesn't it bother anyone that all the conservative pundits are treating her as if she already won the nomination? They want to run against her. It's their only hope.

I saw her half-smirking, half-laughing through a question on Meet the Press yesterday. That smirk always seems to make an appearance whenever she's being asked about something she'd rather not address. Think it's her way of saying, "I can't believe you think anything I've done WRONG is even worth talking about."

I've been preaching this for a couple of years. Why else do you think Bush came out today and said she'll be the Dem nominee?

I truly hope she won't get the nomination because I don't know if she will win and I really don't want her to either.

I agree with what you're saying, but the last few presidents have been the candidates that stuck to their talking points the whole way through. That actually might be GWB's best campaign tactic - when he's campaigning he sticks to the talking points and so do all his water-carriers.

Agree with you wholeheartedly on the matter of Hillary Clinton.

Clinton has a lot to live down. She was one of the architects of the war in Iraq, and her national health plan is nothing if not a sop for the insurance companies and health care industry.

The Republicans very badly want her to be nominated because they know she can't win.

The worst thing about all her giggling is that just last week Bill told the press that she has the greatest laugh he's ever heard and here she is laughing her fool ass off on every show. Coincidence. I don't think so. It's an attempt to appear less rigid.
